Founded by working partners Aaron Halifax and Ken Travers, Kootenay Industries Ltd. is a provider of wellsite production equipment to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada. Aaron and Ken’s previous experience as managers in oil and gas equipment manufacturing has enabled Kootenay Industries Ltd. to provide a quality, cost-effective product, with a focus on customer service.
Ken Travers is the Manager of Sales & Administration for Kootenay Industries Ltd. Ken has 20 years of customer related experience, including 8 years with a fabrication facility. His expertise lies in the fields of sales, estimating, and project management. Ken's broad knowledge, extensive training, and his commitment to putting the customer first have made Kootenay Industries Ltd. a leader in customer service.
Aaron Halifax is the Manager of Operations for Kootenay Industries Ltd. Aaron has 20 years construction experience, including 14 years within a fabrication facility. Aaron’s expertise lies in the fields of fabrication, as well as estimating, project, and shop management. Aaron’s practical knowledge allows him to continually satisfy the customer's requirements in a responsive and cost effective manner while producing a top quality product.
Kootenay Industries Ltd. is located in southeast Calgary, within the Foothills Industrial Park. Our new state-of-the-art fabrication facility totalling 60,000 square feet on 6 acres of secured land. This location has easy access from all major routes and is equipped with 18 overhead cranes and 6 overhead doors 28' wide and 28' tall. This facility has become the home to a group of customer orientated, quality employees that offer the following internal services to our clientele:
